E. R. Ellis III (Gene) is a New England-based author and educator whose fantasy obsession started with—you guessed it—dragons! Inspired by an encounter with The Lord of the Rings film, Ellis decided to pick up the pen and weave fantastic tales of magic, adventure, and empowered female characters. When he isn’t spending time with his family, writing, or teaching, he enjoys all manner of games and other nerdy pastimes.
